Making an Accommodation Reservation:
    Accommodation rates are based on double occupancy, are subject to change and are quoted in Canadian funds prior to 5% GST (tax). U.S. Rates are approximate. May - Sept rates considered 'Regular Room Rates', Oct - April considered 'Discounted Room Rates'. Some restrictions apply to Discounted/Special Rates and Special Offers. Discounted/Special Rates and Special Offers are non-commissionable and must be booked directly. Special Offers do not apply to existing reservations, however, they do apply to nights added to existing reservations. All rooms at Amoré by the Sea accommodate a maximum of two people. 'Minimum Stay' may be required on weekends and holidays.

Deposit for Accommodations:
    A deposit of one night's room rate or 50% of entire stay (whichever is greater) is processed at the time of reservation to guarantee booking. The balance is due upon arrival or on your originally scheduled date of arrival, (whichever is earlier) and is charged to your credit card at that time. Reservations are guaranteed only upon receipt of deposit. We will honour your reservation by not offering your room to anyone else.

Cancellation Policy for Accommodations:
    We have a 14 day cancellation policy, so please call at least two weeks ahead of the date of your stay if you are not able to keep your reservation. All cancellations MUST be made by telephone. We are unable to accept email or voice message cancellations. A $30 CAD administration fee per room applies to all cancellations or adjustments. If you cancel outside of 14 days, the remainder of your deposit will be refunded. If you must make a last minute cancellation, we will return the deposit provided that we are able to rent the room(s) to another guest for the entire reserved period. Naturally, we will make every effort to rent the room and return your deposit. Please note the 14 days notice also applies to any reduction in the number of nights you have committed to stay. Balance of payment is due upon arrival. 'No Shows' and unscheduled early departures are subject to full payment for all nights reserved.
    Since our cancellation policies must be more restrictive than a hotel, we recommend you consider traveler's insurance to protect your vacation. A cancellation is very disappointing to both the guests who have decided to cancel and the owners of Amoré by the Sea. More than likely, we have turned away other guests who would have paid the full price for the room that is being cancelled.

Check-in / Check-out:
    Check-in is between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm. No earlier please, as we are preparing for your arrival. Later check-in can be arranged, but please let us know your expected time of arrival so someone will be available to let you in. Check-out time is 11:00 am - any later is charged $15/hour or portion thereof, but must be pre-arranged.

Spa and Package Reservations
    Spa bookings should be made prior to your check-in day to avoid disappointment as the spa books up quickly. Package bookings must be made 48 hours prior to your arrival as we need time to set up all details. Spa and Package bookings require 48 hours' notice for changes or cancellation, otherwise guests are responsible for entire fee. Spa and Package fees are due upon arrival.

- Amore by the Sea is designed and operated as a romantic getaway for an adult
    clientele seeking a tranquil atmosphere and is therefore unsuitable for
    children under 16 years of age.
- We are a smoke-free property
- We are 'Wireless' for laptops that are wireless enabled
- A complementary 3 course breakfast is served in our dining room each morning
    at 8:30 am. A lighter breakfast is available from 9:00 am to 10:00 am
    upon request.
- There are no TVs in the rooms but are available upon request
- Spa Hot Tub available year-round
- We have provided explicit instructions for finding Amoré by the Sea after arriving
    on Vancouver Island. Please remember to print off maps before leaving
    on your vacation.
