Pack your picnic basket (or borrow one at Amoré), and head out to a park for an afternoon of hiking, beachcombing, or relaxing. Goldstream Provincial Park has massive old-growth trees, a picturesque waterfall, a river that meanders to the ocean and much more. At East Sooke Park, you can hike along the ocean trails for a day-long adventure.

    Victoria, named the Cycling Capital of Canada, is renowned as a city well travelled on two wheels. The Galloping Goose Trail is a multi-use trail, formerly a railway line, which travels through urban, rural and wilderness scenery on its 55 km journey from Victoria to Sooke. It is part of the Trans-Canada Trail, a national multi-use trail system linking trails from coast to coast.
